Financial Resources Group was among the sponsors of the 2nd Annual William Byron Charity Golf Tournament on May 11th that benefited Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolinas. Held at scenic Peninsula Club in Cornelius, NC, the event raised approximately $250,000 that will go toward making a positive impact on today’s youth.
Stephen Lank, President, who was among a team of players, said, “Financial Resources Group is proud to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolinas and honored to be part of such a worthy cause that ignites the power and promise of today’s youth. The tournament was so well organized and our team thoroughly enjoyed being involved with such a successful fundraiser.”
Event host William Byron, NASCAR Cup Series driver, said, “I want to thank each and every one of you for being here today. I had the honor of being a Big Brother while I was in high school and saw firsthand the impact that having a positive and reliable mentor had on today’s youth.”
