Who We Serve

Meeting the growing and diverse needs of the financial services industry

At Financial Resources Group, our roots began with supporting advisors affiliated with the LPL Financial platform. As the industry evolved, so did we—expanding our reach to meet the diverse and growing needs of financial professionals. Today, we proudly serve a broad spectrum of partners, including:

  • Independent financial advisors seeking flexible, scalable support for growth and client service.
  • Institution-based advisors operating within banks and credit unions, looking for integrated, strategic solutions.
  • Financial institutions aiming to enhance their investment programs and advisor success.
  • Cross-platform advisors and dual programs who work across independent and institutional models and need a partner who understands the complexity of hybrid business structures.

Our growth reflects not just the strength of our platform and services, but our unwavering dedication to serving the evolving needs of financial professionals—wherever and however they operate.

“FRG has been a great partner, and an invaluable resource. They provided unlimited access to training and were very thorough and ultimately, that’s what led to our success.”

INDEPENDENT ADVISORS

Independence for Financial Advisors

As an independent financial advisor, you’re not limited by the proprietary products or sales quotas of a single firm. This freedom allows you to choose from a broader range of solutions and operate your business on your terms. You maintain full ownership of your book of business and have complete control over how you serve your clients.

Empowering Independent Advisors

Independent advisors often run small, autonomous practices while partnering with larger firms like Financial Resources Group and LPL Financial for essential back-office support. Financial Resources Group provides a comprehensive suite of services including onboarding and integration, technology consulting, marketing support, business consulting, compliance guidance, and more.

Through the backing of LPL Financial, advisors gain access to cutting-edge technology, real-time account data, streamlined client statements, and a broad selection of investment options vetted by LPL’s renowned Research team—one of the most experienced among independent broker-dealers.

Independent advisors also benefit from the opportunity to receive maximum payout. With that autonomy comes the responsibility of managing office space and associated expenses. However, advisors affiliated with our branch have full access to all the resources and support Financial Resources Group offers—tools specifically designed to help independent advisors grow and thrive.

“Their support and resources have allowed us to better serve our clients. I look forward to growing together with Financial Resources Group’s awesome team!”

CROSS PLATFORM ADVISORS

Best of Both Worlds

A cross platform advisor is a combination of an institutional advisor and an independent advisor. There are various iterations of this strategy, but the common theme is that an independent advisor keeps his/her clients in a rep code they own and a second rep code is established for the clients’ referrals from the bank or credit union.

The cross platform advisor can be an employee of the financial institution, of Financial Resources Group, or an independent contractor (depending upon the state in which they work).

Potential as a Cross Platform Advisor

If your personal practice is not growing fast enough, or you just have extra band width in your day this is the perfect solution. For the financial institution that has no existing book of business or a small book of business – under this strategy, they have the ability to attract a high quality experienced financial professional to their institution.
