Developing the next generation of top-tier advisors

At Financial Resources Group, we are deeply committed to developing the next generation of top-tier advisors. Our Advisor Development Program provides comprehensive training and mentorship for young professionals, guiding them for up to five years or until they reach a $500,000 production threshold. This level of support requires a substantial capital investment, and we seek the help of our program benefactors to support this initiative.

What to Expect

Commitment and Dedication

The program enrollment fee is $2,400, with an annual fee of $2,400 for three years. Additionally, the student will enter into a five-year contract with Financial Resources Group, which includes a 2-point adjustment on their payout structure. For example, if a new advisor is set at a 50% payout, their payout will be adjusted to 48% for five years, while the sponsor’s override remains the same. This adjustment ensures that both the advisor and Financial Resources Group share in the investment of their development. The average total cost for a student’s training, including the enrollment fee, is estimated to be around $20,000 over the five years.

It’s important to set clear expectations for any prospective student. They must be fully committed to the training program, which will require substantial dedication and time outside of normal working hours.

What to Expect

Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

Upon completing the training, they will immediately pursue their Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, a process that typically takes an additional 2.5 years. This means a significant amount of after-hours study, project work, and testing. The 9-to-5 workday will no longer be the norm, and students must be ready for the rigorous demands of this journey.

We are looking for individuals who are 100% committed to becoming highly productive, credentialed financial planners and to growing both personally and professionally. If a candidate is not prepared to dedicate the necessary time and energy, this program may not be the right fit for them.

What to Expect

Shape the Future

For those considering enrollment, it’s critical that students fully understand the level of commitment required. Historically, only about half of the students who undertake this training successfully complete it and go on to become high achievers in the industry. As a sponsor, you must be confident in the candidate’s excitement, work ethic, and willingness to put in the extra effort.

If you have a potential candidate in mind and would like to learn more about the program or discuss a candidate, please reach out to your Business Consultant or the Advisor Development team at the Financial Resources Group home office. Let’s work together to shape the future of financial advising.
