FRGIS Summer Internship Program Overview
At FRGIS, we believe in investing in the next generation of leaders in the financial services industry. Our Internship Program is designed to provide college-aged rising juniors and rising seniors with hands-on experience, professional development, and insight into the operations of a dynamic and growing company. We also offer opportunities for high school students on a case-by-case basis, specifically for the children of our current employees.

Program Objectives
Skill Development:
Our Interns will gain practical experience and will be exposed to various aspects of financial services, including business development, client consulting and relations, and operational support. Our Interns will be provided with a diversity of tasks and assignments.
Industry Exposure:
Our Interns will be immersed in the financial services industry, learning about the latest trends, regulations, and technologies that shape our work. Our Interns will also be exposed to our Advisor Development training program, introducing them to the important foundation necessary to be successful in our industry. Our Interns will also have the opportunity to build community with other interns.
Professional Growth:
Our Interns will have the opportunity to develop essential professional skills such as communication, teamwork, problem solving, and project management. Our Interns will have an opportunity to receive feedback from their mentors and other team members, allowing them to improve and grow as an individual, as well as to apply what they have learned in school to the business world.
Learning Experience:
Our internship is designed to give interns hands-on experience and exposure to real-world applications of their academic studies. Our interns will have the opportunity to work with an amazing team, not only learning, but also making an impact, and being pushed outside of their comfort zone. Our Interns will be paired with a mentor who will provide guidance, feedback, and support throughout the program.

Program Structure FAQ
Our internship program generally spans 10 weeks during the summer, with flexible start and end dates to accommodate students’ academic schedules.
Start date window: 1st week of June
End date window: 2nd week of August
Our Interns will work 24 hours per week using the following schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00am – 3:30pm
Our Interns will work on meaningful projects that contribute to FRGIS’ goals. These projects will be tailored to our intern’s interests and strengths.
Our Interns will participate in training sessions on industry-specific topics, as well as workshops on resume writing, interview skills, and career planning.
Interns will receive a competitive hourly wage.
Application Process
Step 1. Research
Learn more about FRGIS to determine if you think we’re the best fit for one another.
Step 2. Apply
Submit your application: Interested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and transcript through our ADP Career web page ( add hyperlink ) by March 15th of each year.
Step 3. Phone Screen
If you meet the qualifications, a recruiter will reach out to you for an initial phone screen. The phone screen will determine if you will move forward to the interview stage.
Step 4. Research and Prepare
Start preparing for your interview as soon as it’s scheduled. Dedicate time to reading and researching the specifics of the job, the firm, and the people. You can also find us on social media. Set up a mock interview with friends or family so you can practice your responses.
Step 5. Interview
We ask a mix of competency, situational, technical, and behavioral questions so that we can better understand your academic, and professional experience.
Step 6. Take Time to Reflect
Take some time to reflect and evaluate whether your goals align with the opportunity offered by FRGIS, and whether this role and team are the right fit for you. It’s okay if you’re not entirely certain that this is the right position for you.
Step 7. Are We a Match?
A recruiter will be in touch within two to three weeks of your last interview. Finding the right teammate is a difficult and an important decision, and we appreciate your patience in the process.
